ID Card Formats
Our ID Cards are made from laminated polycarbonate clear plastic. It's
the same material used to make credit cards, but these cards are a
little thinner and more flexible.
Size 82mm (3¼in) wide, 54mm
(2
in)
high, less than ¼mm thick.
ID cards can be supplied with or without a slot or punched hole for attaching straps, chains or lanyards.
The cards are hard-wearing, fade-resistant, shatterproof and splash-proof. They will not withstand machine washing or prolonged soaking, but they will survive an occasional splash and may be used outdoors in wet weather.
The design is printed on photographic card which is then sealed between two layers of the clear protective plastic, the corners rounded and edges smoothed.
ID Card Styles
There are three styles of card available as shown here. Style A has a slightly larger personal photo than B and C. When you send photos of any size or type we will resize them to fit on the card. Passport-size pictures are ideal, but larger ones are also acceptable.

Custom ID Cards
If these layouts don't suit your requirements we will be pleased to supply ID cards to your own specification. Please contact us by letter post or email with your artwork and/or design requirements. Better still, send us a sample. There is no extra charge for custom cards.
